Evaluation Meeting- Already over, 5 days of intensive work!

From 20 to 25 January the 4:Miss You, Rope! Team, which this time was composed of Maria Teresa (France), Nicoleta (Romania), Elena (Greece), Tsvetina (Bulgaria), Daniel (Spain), Birgit (Austria) and Birgit (Italy), worked on the corrections for the booklet and cleared many questions about the project in general.
After nearly one year of work the questions and also the critics about many topics were not missing. “Such big cooperations like 4:Miss always bring problems with itself.”, everybody knows now.

One important point about which we discussed a lot was the future. Possible Follow-Up projects and especially what we can do better in the case of a Follow-Up with the same project structure. For this moment there are no concrete Follow-Ups already written, but at least many ideas which are just waiting to be put down on a piece of paper.

But for sure on a piece of paper will be possible to find soon the whole booklet of the 4:Miss You, Rope! project.
In this booklet it will be possible to find the general describtion of the project, all the information about the partners, the national researches and their results and many interesting facts about the European Countries which participated.

Voice of migrants

The organisation “ARCI Officine Culturali di Chieti” is organizing the project “Voice of Migrants”.

Voice of Migrants want to represent a meeting point to tell and describe the life condition of the young immigrants and to increase their citizenship and the opportunities of social and cultural inclusion.

Evaluation Meeting

Already in 2 days is starting the last meeting of the project 4:Miss You, Rope!
Here you can see the project programme draft, which we are going to change in the necessarities which we are going to face during the five days.  Programme for January

The Programme is concentrated on the work for the booklet, which will be printed soon.

We are expecting for the Meeting Maria Teresa from France, Elena from Greece, Daniel from Spain, Tsvetina from Bulgaria, Nicoleta from Romania and Birgit from Austria.  Because of illness Steve from England and Sintija from Latvia can unfortunately not come. But in the last minute Viktorija organized hereself to come instead of Sintija!

The meeting is going to happen in the new office of the head organisation LINK www.linkyouth.org in Altamura, Italy.

1st march 2010 – strike of foreigners in Italy

Growing call for general strike of foreigners in the country

23rd December 2009: A group which was formed on Facebook and is now gaining support of  associations of foreigners in Italy has called for a general strike of foreigners in the country.The group called “1st March 2010 Strike of Foreigners”, is open to people of all races, gender, faith, education and political leanings, immigrants, descendants of immigrants and native Italians. “We are brought together by awareness of the importance of the social, cultural and economic contribution of immigration to our country. We are outraged by the smear campaign against foreigners in Italy, which has led to a barbaric, racist atmosphere and the adoption of discriminatory laws which are far from the principles and the spirit of our Constitution,” says the Manifesto for “1st March 2010 Strike of Foreigners”.
